This class explores various elements of fear play in rope & how to safely incorporate them it into a scene.
We'll dive into how to build anticipation & surprise through careful planning, heavy negotiation, & fluid communication.
This class also covers some psychological & physiological aspects of fear play in rope.
You'll also learn various minimal rope techniques for slight take downs.
Lastly, we'll go over general safety measures & aftercare for particularly intense scenes.
You can tie structurally sound harnesses.
You have the appropriate gear.
Maybe you've even done a few partial suspensions.
But now you're finally ready to step completely into the air for the first time.
We'll learn how to execute a basic static suspension while focusing on upline management, harness integrity, safety, & communication.
We will also learn an emergency descent drill.
Requirements:
Know how to tie suspendable upper & lower body harnesses.
Bottoms should be comfortable identifying & communicating various needs for their safety in rope.
Bottoms should also possess at least a basic understanding of their body in rope.

The rope we see often takes our breath away, so let’s talk about how to do it in scene!
In this class we’ll be discussing different modalities of breath restriction & breath control as they relate to rope.
We’ll be using heavy tension, challenging positions, & simple uplines to restrict breathing.
This class will leave you gasping!
Requirements :
Effective communication between top & bottom.
Tops must be able to tie basic harnesses.
Bottoms must be able to communicate under stress & have strong body awareness.
Bottoms need to know their body in rope.
Are you new to rope?
Wanna review common risks in Shibari?
Or maybe you’re interested in learning how to find ideal TK/gote placements?
Every body is different & knowing how to find correct rope placement is crucial to mitigating risk & bodily harm in rope bondage.
In this class we’ll be reviewing common anatomy risks involved with Shibari & rope bondage.
We'll draw many typical nerve locations on a model to visualize trouble areas, places to avoid, & many spots where major nerves are often exposed.
With some audience participation we'll learn how to test for exposed upper arm nerves & practice finding ideal arm placements for upper body ties on different body types & sizes.
This class sucks. For the bottom I mean.
We’ll be showing how to tie two of our go-to torture rope techniques; a compression tie & a cinching cuff.
Then we’ll go through a partial suspension sequence & give examples of how those tools can be applied to put your bottom in a considerable amount of pain from multiple places at once. Truly a suck buffet!
Requirements:
Know how to tie a suspendable back loading chest harness.
Tops must have knowledge of rope fundamentals as well as upline management.
Bottoms must be able to communicate under stress & have strong body awareness.
Bottoms need to know their body in rope!

This class will explore elements scene building.
We'll cover many aspects from scene pacing, to small details like music selection, to big things like setting & correcting the emotional mood.
We'll begin with a loose game plan of how a scene should organically or naturally develop.
We'll cover general rope safety measures.
This class will cover intensity with minimal technical ability.
Lastly, we'll address necessary aftercare & the aftermath that typically follows.
This class will focus on the ways hypermobile bodies tend to behave in rope.
I'll also share my insight, experiences, & the ways I've learned to manage this.
Throughout this class I’ll be drawing on the knowledge of anatomy I've gained as an exercise professional as well as my personal experience as a hypermobile switch who frequently ties with several other hypermobile switches.
We'll discuss common issues, strengths, pitfalls, & adaptations for hypermobility in rope.
I'd love to create an welcoming space for open dialogue, shared experiences & skills among hypermobile people & those who tie with them.
Nothing said in this class is intended to be medical advice. I am not a medical professional!

This class is designd for & geared toward rope bottoms.
The primary aim of this class is to help bottoms assess & develop a personal risk profile, build or improve their active rope bottoming skills, & to develope self-advocacy skills & confidence.
Lastly, we'll discuss & share available bottoming resources & helpful information.
In this class we'll teach a version of the armbinder, or strappado, where the bottom's arms are tied to the front.
You'll learn to construct an armbinder that reflects the needs, desires, & limitations of your bottom.
We'll also cover nerve safety, bottoming, & structural stability for suspensions.
Requirements :
Tops should have experience with static suspensions & confident upline management.
Tops need to tie a structurally sound upper body harness with a reinforced stem with multiple frictions.
Bottoms need to know their body in rope & clearly communicate throughout this tie.
Bottoms don't need to be able to hold their hands behind their back!
In this class we'll learn an upper-body harness that starts as an armbinder, or strappado, that can be converted into a loadable tengu mid-air.
Many people experience rapid circulation loss, positional discomfort, & nerve issues in armbinders. This harness offers an easy-out for continuing your suspension sequence without having to completely untie the harness.
Participants should have experience with suspensions with transitions & the skill set appropriate for suspensions with transitions.
This class is a "Tricks & Tips" suspension demo from a small female perspective.
This will not be a hands-on class.
I'm a 4’ 11" female rigger who primarily focuses on suspending 200+ lbs heavy male bottoms & non-masochists.
Throughout this class I will share some of the struggles that I have had to work through and the insights I've gained along the way.
I work in the Shibari aesthetic, but I'm not a sadist in suspension.
In this class we'll also touch on these topics :
confidence issues in tops,
larger bottoms,
male bottoms,
comfortable rope,
& empowered bottoms.
I've presented this class at The Space 2024, DO Summercamp 2024, & Tesfest 2019.
Do you like it tight? So do we!
. . . Except when we don't.
How heavily or loosely we tension or wraps in a harness can greatly impact the tie & where pressure is felt when force is applied to the harness.
We’ll use a mermaid tie & tenshi / angel wings to demonstrate how we can make conscious choices of where to apply heavier or looser tension to direct that force.
Let’s talk about where we like our loads & how to direct them there.
Requirements :
Strong communication between tops & bottoms.
Tops must understand basic rope fundamentals like single columns, wraps, & frictions.
